is the solution to your problems. Our Wedge Snow Plow is designed to be
shoved by your locomotive and push snow and debris out of the way. The large
wedge-shaped shovel on the front of the Wedge Snow Plow is more then a match
for most leaves, egg corns and small stones, and can plow several inches
of snow. The Wedge Snow Plow can be filled with stones or other forms of
weight to help it in its battle against your backyard elements. A operating

Prototype Information:
The Aristo-Craft Wedge Snow Plow is based on common snow plows used by most
railroads. Many wedge-type snow plows are custom built in the railroad's
shops. Typically, railroads would use an old gondola that was no longer
useful for normal service. The railroad would build a large wedge-shaped
plow on one end of the gondola. The car would be filled with cement or another
form of ballast to add weight. When winter weather would strike, locomotives
would shove the snow plow through any part of the railroad that was covered
with snow. Mostly replaced by locomotive pilot mounted snow plows, wedge
type snow plows still operate today in areas where deep snow occur or limited
service where locomotive pilot mounted snow plows are inadequate. Wedge
