PROTOTYPE HISTORY
The Gondola has proved its versatility over the years by having numerous
different versions developed over the years for various purposes. Covered
Gondolas were developed as a stop-gap measure after Covered Hoppers became
scarce. With covers made out of steel, these gondolas were designed to protect
its perishable load against the weather. COVERED GONDOLA (ART-41100 SERIES)
